iMovie - Te Manga Kawa of Care Class Assembly

At the Manaiakalani TOD I took part in Tina Takimoana's korero on how to use iMovie and was truly inspired to give it a go with my own class. This term our class have been learning about the Kawa of Care and decided to incorporate this learning into our class assembly. We made a trailer using iMovie and then the students wrote and practised skits to demonstrate different parts of the Kawa of Care which we then filmed. I played around with making the videos on iMovie and now feel confident that I can teach my class how to use this great tool for movie making.
